Different questions call for different amounts of time.

Choose a session according to the breadth of the subject you want to explore. The descriptions below define the intended educational scope; suitability, duration, venue and the final fee must be confirmed before an appointment is agreed.

01

Focused Health Education Session

A short, focused conversation for one clearly defined general health education question or a small number of related terminology questions.

What is included

  • Clarification of one agreed general topic.
  • Plain-language explanation of relevant terminology.
  • Time to ask follow-up questions within the agreed scope.
  • A brief recap of the main educational points discussed.

Best suited to

Someone who already knows the topic they want to understand and does not need a broad discussion across several unrelated subjects.

Session boundary

Does not include extensive source research, a written report, personal test-result interpretation or a clinical assessment.

Deliverable

The educational discussion itself. Written notes or reference materials are not included unless separately confirmed in writing.

02

Essential Health Information Consultation

A structured introduction to a general health topic, with time to clarify key terms and understand the broad context of the information.

What is included

  • Agreement on the main learning question.
  • Explanation of relevant general concepts and terminology.
  • Discussion of the context and limitations of the information.
  • Opportunity to identify areas that remain unclear.

Best suited to

Someone looking for more than a short explanation but who has one main subject and a manageable set of related questions.

Session boundary

This is not a detailed literature review, individual medical opinion or assessment of personal symptoms or results.

Deliverable

A focused educational discussion and verbal recap. A separate written summary is not automatically included.

03

Extended Health Education Consultation

A longer session for a broader topic, allowing more time to organise questions, compare general explanations and explore information sources.

What is included

  • Prioritisation of the main educational questions.
  • Discussion of connected general health concepts.
  • Exploration of source purpose, context and limitations.
  • A recap of the key themes covered during the session.

Best suited to

Someone with several related learning questions or a general topic that requires more explanation than a short session allows.

Session boundary

The session does not include independently commissioned research, clinical recommendations or a guarantee that every question can be covered.

Deliverable

An extended educational discussion. Any follow-up document or curated reading list must be expressly included in the booking.

04

Comprehensive Health Education Session

A more detailed educational conversation for a substantial general topic that benefits from a structured discussion and time for review.

What is included

  • Agreeing the scope and priorities for the session.
  • Breaking the topic into understandable sections.
  • Exploring general information and relevant source limitations.
  • Summarising the main learning points verbally.

Best suited to

Someone who wants to explore a wider subject in a more organised way and has several connected questions to discuss.

Session boundary

This is not a formal research report, specialist medical review or a written assessment of an individual's health circumstances.

Deliverable

A structured educational conversation. A written output is only supplied where the booking description explicitly promises one.

05

In-Depth Health Information Consultation

A longer session for people who want to explore a complex general subject, examine several information sources or organise a substantial set of related learning questions.

What is included

  • Detailed scoping of the intended learning discussion.
  • Exploration of several connected general concepts.
  • Discussion of source credibility and information limitations.
  • Prioritisation of remaining educational questions.

Best suited to

Someone who needs additional discussion time and a more considered exploration of general information across related subjects.

Session boundary

The fee does not imply a separate written research assignment, exhaustive review of every source or clinical interpretation.

Deliverable

The agreed in-person consultation. Any research, report or supplementary materials must be separately described and agreed.

06

Extended Learning Consultation

The longest proposed session, intended for a substantial and clearly scoped educational discussion where additional time is needed to work through several connected learning questions.

What is included

  • Prioritisation of multiple related educational questions.
  • Extended discussion of general terminology and information.
  • Consideration of the purpose and limitations of sources.
  • A verbal recap of key points and outstanding questions.

Best suited to

Someone who needs a longer learning conversation and is willing to agree the subject boundaries before the appointment.

Session boundary

Additional time does not turn the service into medical care, an individual clinical assessment or an unlimited research service.

Deliverable

The agreed educational session. Any additional written deliverable, preparation or follow-up must be confirmed in writing beforehand.

Before publication: All six prices, durations and descriptions above are proposed service options, not confirmed operational commitments. Publish only the sessions that AJRAK LTD can genuinely provide. The actual venue, consultation capacity, staff competence, preparation arrangements and any written deliverables must be confirmed. Prices shown to consumers should be the total applicable price, including any mandatory charges.
From enquiry to delivery

Every arrangement should be clear before the meeting.

The process below describes the intended booking framework. Actual response times and appointment availability should be communicated honestly according to the company's capacity.

01

Initial enquiry

Send a short description of the general educational topic. An enquiry is not yet a confirmed appointment.

02

Scope and suitability

Clarify the questions, proposed session length, educational boundaries and whether the requested service is appropriate.

03

Written confirmation

Confirm the total fee, venue, date, time, duration, deliverables and applicable cancellation terms before the appointment is finalised.

04

Face-to-face session

Deliver the agreed educational discussion within the confirmed scope and explain any limitations encountered.

What happens if more work is needed?

If the request expands beyond the selected session, the company should explain the additional scope and whether it can be accommodated. Any additional preparation, research, written materials or further appointment must be described separately.

No additional work should be charged without prior agreement. The customer should receive the proposed price and revised delivery arrangements before deciding whether to proceed.

What if a question cannot be covered?

The session should prioritise the questions agreed in advance. If time is insufficient, the remaining items can be identified for the customer to consider separately. A further session is optional and is not automatically required or included.

Where the request falls outside the educational service, the company should explain this and direct the customer to an appropriately qualified healthcare professional where relevant.

Appointments / Changes and cancellations

Plans change. The terms should remain clear.

The booking confirmation should explain how to request a change, how statutory cancellation rights apply and how any refund will be handled. The final policy must match the actual booking process.

Statutory cancellation rights

Where the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 apply to a distance or off-premises service contract, consumers will generally have a 14-day cancellation period starting from the day after the contract is entered into.

There are specific rules for services requested to begin during that period, including express requests and the effect of full performance. Customers should receive the required information before the contract is concluded.

Requesting a cancellation

Customers may contact the company using the contact details supplied in their booking confirmation. They should identify the appointment and clearly state that they wish to cancel.

The company should acknowledge the request and explain the next steps. Customers do not have to use a particular form if the law allows another clear statement of cancellation.

Rescheduling an appointment

Customers should contact the company as early as reasonably possible if they need to change a confirmed appointment. Any replacement date is subject to genuine availability and must be confirmed.

A rescheduling request does not itself create a new appointment. Any proposed rescheduling charge must be disclosed in advance, be fair and be consistent with applicable law and the agreed contract.

Late cancellation or non-attendance

The final policy should specify the operational arrangements for late cancellation and non-attendance. Any charge must be clearly disclosed before booking, proportionate to the circumstances and consistent with consumer law.

Such a rule must not remove or restrict a statutory cancellation right. It should also address what happens if the company cannot provide the agreed session.

Refund method and timing

Where a refund is due, it should be processed within the applicable legal timeframe. Under the relevant statutory cancellation rules, reimbursement is generally due without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the trader is informed of the cancellation, subject to the rules applicable to the particular contract.

Refunds should normally be made using the original payment method unless the customer expressly agrees otherwise. The company should confirm when the refund has been processed.

When AJRAK LTD cancels

If the company cannot deliver a confirmed session, it should notify the customer promptly and explain whether a replacement appointment is available.

If the customer does not agree to an appropriate alternative, any refund or other remedy should be handled in accordance with the contract and applicable law. The customer should not be charged for a service the company has not provided where a refund is due.

Implementation note: This is a policy framework for drafting, not a substitute for reviewing the actual consumer contract. Before publication, confirm how appointments are concluded, how customers request early service during any cancellation period, what notice periods are operationally realistic and how refunds are actually processed.
Service terms / Before you book

Clear expectations, before the session begins.

These service conditions are intended to explain how consultations are scoped, arranged and delivered. The final booking confirmation and the website's full Terms & Conditions should be consistent with the actual service and applicable consumer law.

01. Enquiries and suitability

An enquiry allows AJRAK LTD to understand the general educational topic and explain available options. An enquiry, contact form submission or request for a particular date does not itself confirm an appointment.

Before confirming, the company should establish whether the request falls within the service's educational scope. If the request requires clinical assessment, diagnosis, interpretation of personal results or treatment advice, it is outside the service described here.

02. Booking confirmation

A booking should only be treated as confirmed once the customer has received written confirmation of the agreed service, date, start time, duration, total price, meeting venue and applicable cancellation terms.

If any material arrangement changes, the company should notify the customer and obtain agreement where required. A request is not a reservation until the company confirms it.

03. Face-to-face delivery

Consultations are intended to take place in person at a venue agreed and confirmed before the appointment. The registered office should not be treated as the consultation venue unless this is genuinely the intended and confirmed arrangement.

Customers should attend at the confirmed time and follow reasonable venue instructions. Any accessibility requirements should be raised during the enquiry so that practical arrangements can be discussed.

04. Preparation and customer information

Customers may be asked to identify the general topic and the questions they would like to explore. Preparation should remain proportionate to the agreed service.

Please do not submit unnecessary medical records, identifiable test results or other sensitive health information through a general enquiry form. The company may decline to review material that falls outside the agreed educational scope.

05. Duration and late arrival

The confirmed duration refers to the scheduled consultation time. If a customer arrives late, the company should explain whether the remaining time can accommodate the agreed subject.

A late arrival does not automatically entitle either party to extend the session. Any extension, rescheduling or additional fee must be discussed and agreed in advance. No unadvertised fee should be imposed without an appropriate basis and prior disclosure.

06. Scope changes and additional work

Each session is limited to the scope described in the service confirmation. If new questions substantially expand that scope, the company may explain which matters can be covered in the available time and which would require a separate arrangement.

Additional research, written reports, extended preparation, supplementary sessions or other work are not included unless explicitly stated. The company must describe any proposed extra work, its price and its delivery arrangements and obtain the customer's agreement before proceeding.

07. Educational materials and deliverables

The primary deliverable is the face-to-face educational discussion described for the selected session. A verbal recap may be provided within the agreed time.

A written summary, personalised report, source list, recording, transcript or post-session support is not automatically included. If any such item is offered, its format, scope, delivery method, expected delivery date and any applicable fee should be confirmed before the booking is agreed.

08. Source information and limitations

Educational explanations may refer to general information sources. Sources can differ in purpose, publication date, quality and scope. Where sources are discussed, the aim is to improve understanding, not to guarantee that every published statement is complete or current.

The service does not guarantee a particular personal health outcome and does not replace individual advice from a qualified healthcare professional.

09. Changes by the company

If the company cannot provide a confirmed session as agreed, it should contact the customer promptly, explain the available alternatives and offer an appropriate rearrangement or refund where applicable.

The company should not unilaterally substitute a materially different service without agreement. Statutory rights and remedies remain unaffected.

10. Customer conduct and appropriate boundaries

Both parties should communicate respectfully and keep the discussion within the agreed educational scope. The company may pause or end a discussion if it becomes unsafe, abusive or requires clinical judgement outside the service.

Where a session cannot appropriately continue, the company should explain the reason where reasonably possible and handle any fee or refund in accordance with the contract, the circumstances and applicable consumer law.

11. Privacy and confidentiality

Personal information should be handled in accordance with the published Privacy Policy and applicable data protection requirements. Only information reasonably needed to manage an enquiry or deliver an agreed service should be requested.

Customers should be told how their information is used, who may receive it, how long it is retained and how they can exercise applicable data rights. Do not promise absolute confidentiality without accounting for legal obligations and genuine operational needs.

12. Complaints and applicable terms

Concerns about the service, communication or agreed deliverables should be submitted using the contact details in the Complaints Policy. The company should acknowledge and review complaints fairly and explain its response.

These service details should be read alongside the full Terms & Conditions, Service Delivery Policy, Refund and Cancellation Policy and Privacy Policy. Nothing here excludes or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Understanding our role

Education is not clinical care.

AJRAK LTD's proposed service is intended to support understanding of general health information. It is not a medical consultation and does not determine what an individual should do about a health condition.

+

General educational explanations

Sessions may cover general health concepts, terminology, information sources and ways to organise learning questions.

—

No diagnosis or clinical assessment

The service does not assess symptoms to identify a condition or provide an individual clinical opinion.

—

No individual test-result interpretation

Personal laboratory results, scans and clinical reports are not interpreted as part of this educational service.

—

No prescribing or treatment planning

The service does not prescribe, recommend medication changes or create treatment plans for an individual's circumstances.

!

When to seek professional care

If you need advice about your symptoms, medicines, test results or treatment, contact your GP, pharmacist or another appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

This service is not for urgent health concerns. In the UK, call 999 in a medical emergency. For urgent medical help that is not an emergency, use the appropriate NHS service. Do not delay care while waiting for an educational appointment.
Service questions

Before you choose a session.

A few practical points to help you understand what the service offers and what should be confirmed before an appointment.

Are these medical consultations?
No. The service is intended for general health education and information understanding. It does not include diagnosis, clinical assessment, individual test-result interpretation, prescribing or treatment planning.
Where does the consultation take place?
Consultations are intended to be face-to-face at a venue confirmed with you in advance. The specific location should be included in your appointment confirmation. Please do not assume the company's registered office is the consultation venue unless this has been explicitly confirmed.
What should I prepare?
Prepare a short description of the general topic and the questions you would like to explore. Please do not send detailed medical records or sensitive health information through the general enquiry form.
Will I receive a written report?
Not automatically. The selected session includes the educational discussion described on this page. Written notes, a report, a curated source list or follow-up materials are included only where the service description or booking confirmation expressly states so.
Can I ask questions outside the original scope?
You may raise related questions during the session, but the consultation remains subject to the agreed duration and scope. If substantial additional work is required, the company should explain the options and any additional fee before proceeding.
How do I cancel or change my appointment?
Contact the company using the details in your booking confirmation. Applicable statutory cancellation rights, rescheduling arrangements and any lawful cancellation charges are explained in the cancellation policy and the terms provided when the service is booked.
Can I use this service for urgent health concerns?
No. The service is not an urgent-care or emergency service. For personal medical advice, contact an appropriately qualified healthcare professional. In a UK emergency, call 999.
How do I know which session is appropriate?
Start with a general enquiry explaining the subject you want to understand. The company should clarify the educational scope and available options before confirming a suitable session.
