AJRAK LTD · Terms of service

Terms & Conditions

These terms explain how our health education consultation services are requested, agreed, delivered and cancelled. Please read them before making a booking or entering into a service agreement with us.

01. About these terms

These Terms & Conditions apply to enquiries about, and service agreements for, health education consultations provided by AJRAK LTD. They should be read alongside any booking confirmation, agreed service description, fee information and applicable policies supplied to you.

Where we agree specific arrangements with you in writing, those arrangements form part of the agreement. If a specific written arrangement conflicts with these general terms, the specific arrangement will apply to the extent of that conflict, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

By requesting and accepting a confirmed service, you agree to the terms applicable to that service. You can ask us to clarify any point before deciding whether to proceed.

Important: Submitting an enquiry or receiving an acknowledgement does not, by itself, create a confirmed appointment or require you to purchase a service.

02. Our business

The services described on this website are provided by:

The registered office is provided as company registration information. It should not be taken to mean that consultations take place at that address. Any consultation location or remote meeting arrangement will be confirmed separately before a booking is accepted.

03. Nature of the service

AJRAK LTD provides health education consultations intended to help customers understand general health information, terminology and relevant educational topics in a clear and accessible way.

Depending on the scope agreed for an individual consultation, the service may include:

  • Discussing the health education questions you wish to explore.
  • Explaining general health terminology and concepts in plain language.
  • Helping you understand the purpose and context of publicly available health information.
  • Discussing the general reliability and limitations of information sources.
  • Providing a verbal or written educational summary only where this has been expressly agreed.

The exact subject, format, duration, deliverables and fee for each service will be agreed with you before the booking is confirmed. Not every service includes a written report, follow-up session, resource list or continuing support.

We will not treat an enquiry as acceptance of work beyond the scope that has been agreed with you.

04. Enquiries and bookings

You may contact us through the website or using the contact details on this page. Please provide enough information for us to understand the general educational topic you want to discuss. Do not include unnecessary sensitive personal information in an initial enquiry.

Before accepting a booking, we will confirm the applicable arrangements, including:

  • The subject and scope of the consultation.
  • The applicable fee and any agreed additional charges.
  • The proposed date, time and expected duration.
  • The consultation format and location, or the arrangements for remote access where applicable.
  • Any specific deliverable or follow-up that is included.
  • Relevant cancellation and payment arrangements.

A booking is confirmed only when we have communicated acceptance and the agreed arrangements to you. If payment is required before confirmation or before the service takes place, we will explain that requirement as part of the booking process.

Please check the confirmation details promptly and contact us if anything appears incorrect. Changes to a confirmed booking are subject to agreement and the applicable cancellation terms.

05. Fees and payment

We will tell you the applicable price before you commit to a paid service. The fee may depend on the agreed subject, duration, format and scope of the consultation. No particular fee should be assumed unless it has been communicated to you for the service in question.

Before you agree to proceed, we will clarify, as applicable:

  • The total price payable, including any applicable taxes or additional charges.
  • When payment is due.
  • The payment method or methods available for that booking.
  • Whether any separately requested work falls outside the agreed fee.

We will not charge for additional work that has not been agreed with you. If you request a change or an expanded scope, we will explain any change to the fee and obtain your agreement before proceeding with that additional work.

Where an agreed payment is overdue, we may contact you to resolve the matter. Any decision to postpone or decline further work will take account of the existing agreement and applicable consumer law.

Nothing in these terms removes any refund, remedy or other right you may have under applicable law.

06. Service delivery

Consultations will be delivered in the format and within the timeframe agreed with you. Depending on the confirmed arrangement, this may involve a scheduled discussion or another expressly agreed method of providing educational information.

We do not promise a universal appointment date, response time, consultation duration or written deliverable for every enquiry. The relevant details will be confirmed individually before a booking is accepted.

If a material change or unexpected delay affects an agreed appointment, we will contact you to discuss an appropriate next step, such as an alternative time or another arrangement agreed by both parties.

Any summary, educational material or follow-up support is included only where it forms part of the agreed service. We do not automatically provide unlimited follow-up correspondence or continuing access after a consultation.

Further information is available in our Service Delivery Policy.

07. Your responsibilities

To help the consultation proceed effectively, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate contact and booking information.
  • Explain the educational questions or topics you wish to discuss as clearly as you reasonably can.
  • Attend at the agreed time and follow any reasonable joining or access instructions.
  • Tell us promptly if you need to request a change to a confirmed booking.
  • Use any educational information supplied in a lawful and responsible manner.
  • Respect the agreed scope of the service and communicate any additional requirements before expecting further work.

You are not required to disclose information that is unnecessary for the agreed educational purpose. If you choose to share personal information, please consider whether it is relevant and appropriate to the discussion.

If the information provided is insufficient to address the agreed educational topic, we may ask for clarification. If the request falls outside the service we provide, we will explain this where reasonably possible rather than represent that the requested work has been completed.

08. Important limits of the service

Our consultations are educational, not clinical. They are intended to support general understanding of health information. They do not replace advice or care from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

The service does not include:

  • Clinical assessment or examination.
  • Diagnosis or confirmation of a medical condition.
  • Individual interpretation of medical test results as a clinical service.
  • Prescribing medicines or recommending changes to prescribed medication.
  • Creating or directing an individual treatment plan.
  • Emergency assessment, urgent medical care or ongoing clinical monitoring.

General educational explanations may not take account of every detail of an individual’s circumstances and should not be treated as a personalised clinical conclusion. Information may also change as evidence and guidance develop.

You should consult an appropriately qualified healthcare professional about personal symptoms, test results, diagnoses, medication or treatment decisions. Do not delay seeking medical advice because of information discussed during an educational consultation.

If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, contact the appropriate emergency service. In the UK, call 999 in an emergency.

09. Cancellation, changes and refunds

If you need to cancel or change a confirmed appointment, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible using the email address or telephone number below. We will handle the request in accordance with the arrangements communicated at booking and applicable law.

Depending on the circumstances, the options available may include rescheduling, cancellation or a refund. Any fee for a late cancellation, missed appointment or work already undertaken will apply only where it has been properly disclosed, agreed where required and is lawful.

Where statutory cancellation rights apply to a consumer contract, those rights take priority over any inconsistent term in this policy. Certain distance or off-premises service contracts may carry a 14-day cancellation period. The precise rights and any applicable exceptions depend on the circumstances and the legal requirements for the contract.

If you request that a service begins during a statutory cancellation period, we will handle any required consent, acknowledgement and related information in accordance with applicable law. Any amount payable for service already supplied following cancellation will be assessed only where the relevant legal conditions are met.

Where a refund is due, we will explain the applicable process. Unless otherwise agreed or required by law, refunds will be made using the original payment method. Statutory refund deadlines will be observed where they apply.

Please read our Service Cancellation Policy for further information. If there is any inconsistency, your applicable statutory rights remain unaffected.

10. Concerns and complaints

If you are dissatisfied with the booking arrangements, communication, agreed deliverables or the way an educational consultation was provided, please contact us and describe your concern. Where possible, include relevant booking details so we can understand the matter.

We aim to review complaints fairly, communicate clearly and explain the outcome or proposed next steps. We may ask for additional information where it is reasonably necessary to review the issue.

Our complaints process does not restrict any consumer rights or any right you may have to contact an appropriate public body or seek independent advice.

See our Complaints Policy for details of how to submit a complaint and how it will be handled.

11. Privacy and personal information

We use personal information where necessary to respond to enquiries, arrange and deliver agreed services, administer payments where applicable, communicate with customers and meet legal obligations.

Please do not submit unnecessary sensitive personal information through website forms or ordinary email. If information is needed to understand the educational topic, we will seek to keep the request proportionate to the agreed purpose.

Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection law and our Privacy Policy. The use of cookies and similar technologies is described in our Cookie Policy.

You should not send payment card security codes or passwords by email. Where online payment is offered, use the payment method and process presented for the relevant transaction.

12. Website information and acceptable use

We aim to present website information clearly and keep it reasonably up to date. General information on this website is provided for informational purposes and does not itself constitute a confirmed service offer, a personal clinical assessment or a guarantee of a particular outcome.

You agree not to:

  • Use the website in a way that breaches applicable law.
  • Attempt to interfere with the website’s operation, security or availability.
  • Submit information that you know to be false or misleading in connection with an enquiry or booking.
  • Copy, reproduce or commercially exploit website content in a way that infringes applicable intellectual property rights.

Website content may be updated, corrected or removed where reasonably necessary. Such changes do not remove rights that have already accrued under an existing service agreement or applicable law.

13. Liability and legal rights

We will provide agreed services with reasonable care and skill as required by applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer, including any rights that apply to services that are not provided with reasonable care and skill or that are not supplied in accordance with the contract.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for decisions you make independently based on general educational information where the information was not presented as a clinical assessment or personalised medical instruction. This provision does not remove any duty or liability that applicable law requires us to retain.

We do not guarantee that a consultation will produce a particular personal, educational or health-related outcome. The purpose and limits of the agreed service will be explained before the booking is confirmed.

14. Applicable law and changes to these terms

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rules that apply to you. If you are a consumer residing elsewhere in the United Kingdom, or in another jurisdiction, this clause does not remove any mandatory legal protections that apply to your circumstances.

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

We may update these terms to reflect changes to our services, operational arrangements or legal obligations. The version applicable to a particular booking will be identified or supplied as part of the relevant arrangements. We will not rely on a later change to remove rights that have already accrued under an existing agreement.

If you have questions about these terms, please contact us before confirming a service.
